China-Vietnam Smart Port Opens on December 19, Featuring the Country's First Unmanned Container Truck Clearance Platform

The Chinese section of the China-Vietnam Puzhai-Xinqing freight-only smart port officially commenced operations on the 19th, marking the first smart port in the country centered on driverless container trucks and supported by AI scheduling. Construction began in September 2023, leveraging technologies such as 5G and BeiDou to enable 24-hour customs clearance, reducing customs declaration time by over 70% and significantly improving efficiency. As a key node of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, it will export technical standards and promote transformation in cross-border trade.
