Hanseo University Introduces New Frasca Flight Training Equipment to Further Expand Aviation Training Programs

Frasca International, Inc., a leader in flight simulation under FlightSafety International, today announced that Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea has acquired a new Level 5 C172 Flight Training Device (FTD) to expand its aviation training program. This marks the seventh Frasca device acquired by the university.

The College of Aviation Sciences at Hankuk University is the first higher education institution in South Korea recognized by the Korea University Accreditation Association (KUIA) for specialized aviation personnel training. The addition of the C172 Level 5 FTD further enhances its advanced simulation capabilities, strengthens Hankuk University's partnership with Frasca spanning over two decades, and advances aviation education across Asia.

Dr. HanSuk Jung, Vice Dean of the College of Aviation at Hankuk University, said: "We sought simulators offering both realism and reliability, and Frasca’s products stood out. Since 2003, Hankuk University has continuously expanded its simulation training capabilities through collaboration with Frasca. Its current fleet includes devices such as the Piper Seminole, Cessna 172, and Frasca 342 (Bell 206). The newly added device will provide students with an immersive, industry-leading training experience, including a 220-degree cylindrical visual system.
