In the first 11 months of this year, Sichuan's total foreign trade import and export value reached 934.38 billion yuan, ranking eighth nationwide. Exports amounted to 551.03 billion yuan and imports to 383.35 billion yuan, with trading partners covering over 230 countries and regions, showing significant growth in emerging markets. The variety of imported and exported goods exceeded 8,000 types, nearly 500 more than the same period last year. The number of foreign trade enterprises increased by 10.6% year-on-year, with private enterprises accounting for over 90%, contributing 332.32 billion yuan in import and export volume. Chengdu led the province with 775 billion yuan in trade volume, while cities such as Mianyang maintained growth, and some areas achieved double-digit increases. Facing external pressures, Sichuan is making all-out efforts through initiatives like the "100-day offensive" to achieve its annual goal of one trillion yuan in foreign trade.
