The KEEPIT oxygen absorber keeps food fresh and tasty by eliminating oxygen from a package.

KEEPIT is an iron powder oxygen absorber which uses the propensity of iron to absorb oxygen as it oxidizes and becomes rusty. The air we breathe comprises about 21% oxygen which can be a problem in terms of preserving the freshness of food.

The KEEPIT oxygen absorber works inside airtight food containers to reduce the oxygen content to below 0.1%, preventing the negative effects of oxygen, such as oxidization and the propagation of mold and as a result, it preserves freshness and taste.
