Working principle
The sensors of the Bebur BT6308-OZ series of in-water ozone analyzers are based on the electrochemical amperometry principle and enable rapid on-site analysis of dissolved ozone in water. Ozone diffuses into the sensor through a permeable membrane, first chemically reacts with the electrolyte solution to form an electrochemically active compound, and then moves to the working electrode by diffusion. At the working electrode, the active compound is oxidized and a current signal corresponding to the partial pressure of dissolved odorous oxygen is generated for quantitative analysis. When measuring ozone concentration, it is also necessary to detect the temperature of the sample water, and the output signal of the sensor is compensated by an electronic device, so that the measured value can be corrected with the change of temperature (temperature compensation).
