• Description

Silica Beads（-OH）, short for AllMag? Superparamagnetic Silica Nanoparticles are designed for nucleic acid purification. These silica beads have a core-shell structure of magnetite-rich core and inorganic silica shell, with large numbers of silanol groups on the surface. They are available as aqueous suspensions and are ready to use after easy vortex. By mixing these silica beads with chaotropic salt（e.g. guanidine hydrochloride, guanidine isothiocyanate）, nucleic acids can be rapidly isolated from biological samples without centrifugation and organic extraction steps. These products enable laboratories to automatically and safely process tens of thousands of samples per day.

•  Binding capacity: 4-12μg genomic DNA per mg per 200μl whole blood in AllMag? Blood DNA kit(A10301)
•  The amount of silica beads are recommended to be 1-2mg for one test

 

• Storage and Stability

These products are stable when stored at 4-8°C. Freezing, drying or centrifuging the AllMag? silica beads may result in irreversible aggregation and loss of binding activity. Before use, please thoroughly vortex the suspension.
