Zinc Selenide Lens  is a kind of chemically inert material with high purity, strong adaptability and easy processing. It has low optical transmission loss and good transmittance. Optical Properties of Zinc Selenide

Zinc selenide (ZnSe) is a polycrystalline semiconductor of interest with excellent transmission properties. Specifically, it has a transmission of approximately 70% in the 1-15μm wavelength range and a high transmission in the 600nm to 21μm range.

Manufactured using the chemical vapour deposition (CVD) process, ZnSe optics offer an impressive array of properties:
