With Shimano’s new magnesium bodied STEPS EP801 motor you can choose between 3 modes (ECO, TRAIL and BOOST) to prioritize either assistance or range. For the riders who like to tweak their rides you can further customize the characteristics of each mode via Shimano’s E-Tube Project app thus tailoring them perfectly to your riding style.
Its comes with a 720Wh battery to open up longer rides in the mountains than ever before, and it comes with the option of extending this capacity even further thanks to an additional 360Wh external battery if required. All of that adds up 1,080Wh of day long exploring. Awesome! With 160mm of travel at the front and 150mm at the rear, your rides will be a blast!
The high-quality aluminum frame of the electric fullys combines the outstanding Mondraker design with strong recognizability and a modern geometry. Together with the selected components an unsurpassed riding comfort is achieved. The Shimano drive system is discreetly integrated and convinces with strong performance.
For a more natural riding experience, the SHIMANO STEPS EP801 drive unit allows riders to focus on the trail and enjoy the ride. The drive unit offers more speed on climbs and unique acceleration at high cadence, allowing optimal acceleration out of corners. Compatible with a wide range of mechanical and Di2 shifting options, the EP801 drive unit provides up to 85 Nm of power output for a light and refined feeling of support.
