Product DescriptionPLG Series continuous Plate dryer is akind of high efficiency conducting and continuous drying equipment. Its uniquestructure and operating principle provide advantages of high heat efficiency,low energy consumption, less occupying area, simple configuration, easyoperation and control as well as good operating environment etc. It is widelyused in drying process in the fields of chemical, pharmaceuticals, agriculturalchemicals, foodstuff, fodder, process of agricultural and by-products etc., andis well received by various industries. Now there are three big categories,normal pressure, closed and vacuum styles and four specifications of 1200,1500, 2200 and 2500; and three kinds of constructions A (carbon steel),B(stainless steel for contact parts) and C (on the basis of B to add stainlesssteel for steam pipes, main shaft and support, and stainless steel linings forcylinder body and top cover). With a drying area of 4 to 180 square meters, nowwe have hundreds of models of series products and various kinds of auxiliarydevices available to meet requirements of various products. Principle It is an innovation horizontal batch-type vacuumdryer . The moister of wet material will be evaporated by heat transmission.The stirrer with squeegee will remove material on hot surface and move in thecontainer to form cycle flow. The evaporated moisture will be pumped by vacuumpump. Wet materials are fed continuously to the topdrying layer in the dryer. They will be turned and stirred continuously byharrows when the harrow's arm rotates, the material flows through the surfaceof the drying plate along the exponential helical line. On the small dryingplate the material will be moved to its exterior edge and drop down to theexterior edge of the large drying plate underneath, and will then be movedinward and drop down from its central hole to the small drying plate on thenext layer. Both small and large drying plates are arranged alternately so asmaterials can go through the whole dryer continuously. The heating media, whichcould be saturated steam, hot water or thermal oil will be led into hollowdrying plates from one end to other end of the dryer. The dried product willdrop from the last layer of the drying plate to the bottom layer of the smellbody, and will be moved by harrows to the discharge port. The moisture exhaustsfrom materials and will be removed from the moist discharge port on the topcover, or sucked out by the vacuum pump on the top cover for vacuum-type platedryer. The dried product discharged from the bottom layer can be packeddirectly. The drying capability can be raised up if equipped with supplementarydevices such as finned heater, condenser for solvent recovery, bag dust filter,return and mix mechanism for dried materials and suction fan etc. solvent inthose paste state and heat sensitive materials can be easily recovered, andthermal decomposition and reaction can be also carried out.
Features (1) easy control, wide application 1. Regulate thickness of materials, rotatingspeed of main shaft, number of harrow's arm, style of and sizes harrows achievebest drying process. 2. Each layer of drying plate can be fed withhot or cold media individually to heat or cold materials and make temperaturecontrol accurate and easy. 3. Dwell time of materials can be accuratelyadjusted. 4. Single flowing direction of materials withoutreturn flowing and mixing, uniform drying and stable quality, no re-mixing isrequired. (2) Easy and simple operation 1. Start stop of dryer is quite simple 2. After material feeding is stopped, they canbe easily discharged out of the dryer by harrows. 3. Careful cleaning and observation can becarried inside the equipment through large-scale viewing window. (3) Low energy consumption 1. Thin layer of materials, low speed of mainshaft, small power and energy required for conveying system of materials. 2. Dry by conducting heat so it has high heatingefficiency and low energy consumption. (4)Good operation environment, solvent can berecovered and powder discharge meet the requirements of exhaust. 1. Normal pressure type: as low speed of airflow inside the equipment and moisture being high in upper part and low inlower part, dust powder couldn't float to the equipment, so there is almost nodust powder in tail gas discharged from the moist discharge port on the top. 2. Closed type: equipped with solvent recoverydevice that can recover organic solvent easily from moist-carrier gas. Thesolvent recovery device has simple structure and high recovery rate, andnitrogen can be used as moist-carrier gas in closed circulation for thosesubject to burning, explosion and oxidation, and poisonous materials in orderfor safe operation. Especially suitable for drying of flammable, explosive andpoisonous materials. 3. Vacuum type: if the plate dryer is operatingunder vacuum state, it is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitivematerials. (5) Easy installation and small occupying area. 1. As the dryer is in a whole for delivery, itis quite easy to install and fix at site only by hoisting. 2. As drying plates being arranged by layers andinstalled vertically, it takes a small occupying area though drying area islarge.
