Rosin Emulsion Paper Sizing Agent

Neosize 935 is a highly efficient cationic emulsion for the sizing of paper and board. This product can be used for papermaking over a wide pH range(3.5~5.0), differing from the rosin sizes. Due to its cationic nature, Neosize 935 can enhance the retention of fibers, fillers, and dyes in papermaking system. It can replace the anionic sizing emulsions and fortified rosin products cost-effectively in paper and board application.Rosin emulsion is also one of sizing agent for a paper manufacturing, and especially it’s effective for an acidic sizing. The basic theory of Rosin sizing is also same with AKD’s, some Alum is needed for Rosin emulsion, because it can help for it to be bonded more effectively.1) Our Rosin emulision can cover a wide range of pH, 4.5 – 6.0 (enable for Acidic & Neutral paper mfg. system), and its effect for sizing is more powerful than a former grade rosin like reinforced one.2) It’s very convenient to use it, because we don’t need to dilute Rosin emulsion with a fresh water before using. And, its retention ratio is very high, so the sizing effect also can be higher than before.3) We’re one and only supplier in Korea who is operating a separate plant of Rosin emulsion, and a capacity is also the biggest.
