Chinese Chemical Society and French Chemical Society Renew Friendship Cooperation Agreement

On June 30, at the invitation of the French Chemical Society, Shuai Zhigang, Vice President of the Chinese Chemical Society, visited the headquarters of the French Chemical Society and jointly renewed the friendly cooperation agreement with Gilberte Chambaud, President of the French Chemical Society.

The Chinese Chemical Society and the French Chemical Society have maintained a cooperative relationship since 2013. Together, they established the "China-France Chemistry Lectureship Award" to honor outstanding chemists actively engaged in scientific research in both countries. The award is alternately granted each year to a researcher from either China or France, supporting their academic exchange visits to research institutions in the other country, thus promoting deeper scientific collaboration. Over the past decade, the award has earned an excellent reputation and broad influence within the international chemistry community.

Under the renewed agreement, both societies will continue to deepen their cooperation and provide an ongoing platform for academic exchange among chemical scientists in China and France, further advancing academic interaction and research collaboration between the two nations.
