Geekplus Semiconductor (hereinafter “Geekplus”) has officially announced the launch of its new G32M3101 series—a high-performance, cost-effective, and highly integrated motor control SoC. Integrating an MCU + LDO + Gate Driver into a single chip, this “three-in-one” solution significantly reduces system cost and PCB footprint, delivering a high-efficiency, reliable, and system-level answer for low-voltage motor applications.
The G32M3101 series delivers exceptional computational performance and processing speed, supports a wide range of analog and connectivity features, and offers rich peripheral interfaces—all of which enhance motor drive capabilities. Target applications include low-voltage ceiling fans, floor fans, air purifiers, low-voltage water pumps, massage guns, and more.
High Integration Boosts System Efficiency and Reliability
As motor control systems trend toward miniaturization and integration, optimizing performance within constrained space has become critical. The G32M3101 is built around an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core running at 64MHz, with 64KB Flash and 8KB SRAM, providing robust processing power for real-time motor control tasks. An integrated DIV/MULT hardware accelerator enables efficient implementation of both sensor-based and sensorless Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms.
To further overcome spatial limitations, the chip integrates a 40V 3P+3N gate driver with built-in 240ns dead time, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and shoot-through protection—ensuring stable and safe operation. Additionally, it features a high-precision 5V/60mA LDO (±0.5%) to power the internal MCU, eliminating the need for external power modules. This high level of integration dramatically improves overall system efficiency, reliability, and design simplicity.
Rich Peripheral Resources Enable Efficient Communication and Sensing
To address diverse industrial and consumer control requirements, the G32M3101 offers advanced communication capabilities and precise analog sensing:
The device also supports a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and input voltage from 5V to 36V. Timing resources include:
These features enable flexible implementation of various motor control strategies—even in demanding environments.
Comprehensive Ecosystem Accelerates Time-to-Market
Backed by a mature development ecosystem, Geekplus provides proprietary motor control algorithms and an open motor control platform. Support spans the full stack—from application layer and middleware to device drivers, hardware reference designs, and expert motor engineering teams.
To accelerate adoption, Geekplus has simultaneously launched the G32M3101 General-Purpose Motor Evaluation Board, supporting DC input voltages from 12V to 30V and motor loads up to 60W. This board enables rapid prototyping, algorithm porting, and performance validation—helping developers quickly understand chip capabilities and streamline development.
