Technology Empowers Glory: MoJia Robot Leads the Industry, Pioneering Robot Award Presentations at International Sports Events

On December 12 local time in Dubai, the medal ceremony for the weightlifting event of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) took place. During this awards ceremony, the spotlight not only shone on the young athletes standing on the podium but also illuminated two newly deployed field companions: the Moja robot Mornine and the robotic dog Argos. Together, they assisted the Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Paralympic Committee in presenting gold medals to the weightlifting champions—an innovative application of robotics in sports events that brought a highly technological flair to the ceremony.

"New Companions" at the Champion Moment: Moja Robot Assists in Award Presentation

During the weightlifting champions' award ceremony, Mornine carried the gold medals and joined Mr. Tarek Souei, CEO of the Asian Paralympic Committee, in honoring the winners with the highest accolades. This marked the first time a robot served as an award assistant at an international sporting event, sharing the honor alongside AYPG champions. In a post-event interview, the champion mentioned it was his first time interacting closely with a humanoid robot and receiving such a prestigious honor from an intelligent machine representing the future. He described the experience as extraordinary and high-tech, one that would remain a memorable moment in his life. It is reported that the Moja robot will continue serving as an award assistant throughout the subsequent events, helping presenters award athletes from various countries and regions across Asia.

From Designated Spokesperson to Award Assistant: Moja Robot Demonstrates Its Value Across Multiple Scenarios at the AYPG

At the opening ceremony, the Moja robot took the stage alongside the President of the Asian Paralympic Federation and members of Dubai's royal family as Chery's designated spokesperson. Throughout the competition, Mornine and Argos performed volunteer tasks including navigation, event commentary, dance performances, and material transportation across multiple functional zones such as athlete preparation areas, cultural exchange zones, post-match relaxation areas, and photo-check-in spots—providing thoughtful services to athletes, spectators, and staff from across Asia.

Behind the Champions: Revealing the Capabilities and Credentials of the Moja Robot

This event marks the first time Chinese robots have participated in an international Paralympic competition. The robots’ stable performance in multilingual interaction, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and complex scenario service clearly demonstrated China's robust capabilities in embodied artificial intelligence, particularly in perception-action integration and multimodal information processing. It also accumulated valuable real-world data for large-scale applications of such technologies in public service settings.

Assisting in award presentations and sharing in the glory of champions, the Moja robot itself stands as a champion within certain sectors of the robotics industry. Mornine, the Moja robot, is the world's first humanoid robot to obtain dual EU certification for both hardware and software. In May this year, Moja robots achieved the industry's first large-scale, mass global delivery, with products now sold in over 30 countries and regions worldwide.

In October this year, during its global launch event, Moja introduced Monet—the industry's first visual-language large model designed specifically for marketing scenarios. This model is set to lead the robotics industry toward more efficient, large-scale training for improved environmental adaptability. Additionally, the Moja robot holds several industry-first titles: the first robot to serve as a sales assistant in automotive 4S stores, the first capable of autonomously opening car doors, the first to conduct live-streamed car sales online, and the first to serve as a cultural relic interpreter inside national museums.

Each medal awarded at the games carries the fighting spirit of "born to rise"; every appearance of the Moja robot conveys the warmth of technology. Grounded in technology and built upon real-world applications, Moja Robotics upholds the philosophy of "technology for good," striving to make innovative technology a sustainable force that empowers individuals and warms society. Moja Robotics is committed to becoming a globally leading and trusted intelligent assistant for humanity.
