IronAxis is a U.S.-based B2B supplier of industrial equipment, instruments, machinery, food processing systems and new energy solutions for manufacturers, labs and engineering companies.
Amazon highlighted how Project Eluna and Blue Jay — its artificial intelligence and robotics systems, respectively — are deployed across its U.S. fulfillment centers. The e-commerce company stated that the platforms manage operational insights and repetitive tasks, creating streamlined workflows for front-line workers.
Project Eluna
Project Eluna, an agentic artificial intelligence model, analyzes data from multiple facilities to offer natural-language insights and guide operations teams. The digital tool also helps predict a bottleneck and identify a path forward.
Amazon deployed Project Eluna at a Tennessee site for the holiday shopping season to improve sortation. The company plans to use it to help organize employee rotations and boost maintenance schedules.
Blue Jay
The Blue Jay system coordinates robotic arms to handle stowing, picking, and consolidating simultaneously. Undergoing testing in South Carolina, Amazon explained that the system effectively combines three assembly lines into one.
Purchasing Pedal-Assist Vehicles
Other developments include smart glasses and virtual reality training for delivery drivers and plans to purchase thousands of pedal-assist cargo quad vehicles from Also, a micromobility startup affiliated with Rivian.
TechCrunch reported that Also's compact TM-Q vehicles can transport over 400 pounds while traveling in bike lanes to serve customers in dense and urban areas. Also expects to launch the quads next spring.
