For U.S. and global buyers, the challenge in 2026 is not finding suppliers; it is finding suppliers whose castings, machining, seals, and documentation survive real operating conditions and customs scrutiny. This guide walks through the practical steps: defining the application, verifying materials and standards, auditing factories, running incoming QC, and managing compliance and freight.

Start with the application, not the price list. Camlock couplings are typically specified by size (1/2 in through 8 in, with 3/4 in and 1-1/2 in being the highest-volume), type (A, B, C, D, E, F, DC, DP), body material (aluminum, brass, 316 stainless steel, polypropylene, nylon), and gasket material (Buna-N, EPDM, Viton/FKM, PTFE, silicone).
