KDDI's Global IoT Center of Excellence, KDDI Spherience, to Make Its Debut at CES 2026
The KDDI Spherience, an IoT Center of Excellence under global telecommunications leader KDDI Corporation, has announced its first appearance at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. As KDDI’s dedicated IoT innovation hub, Spherience will demonstrate how it empowers partners to achieve “diverse application scenarios” with next-generation connected technologies spanning devices, vehicles, infrastructure, and cloud services.
“At CES 2026, we will showcase how high-quality global connectivity, when integrated with the right partners and platforms, translates into tangible business advantages,” said Björn Qvarsell, Head of Product Portfolio at KDDI Spherience. “Our mission is to help partners build, launch, and scale IoT services more quickly, reliably, and seamlessly around the world.”
Empowering IoT Practices Across Diverse Application Scenarios
Spherience will highlight real-world and conceptual use cases developed in collaboration with four core ecosystem partners at CES 2026:
- Yamaha Marine: Based in Kennesaw, Georgia, Yamaha Marine handles sales, marketing, and distribution of Yamaha Marine products in the U.S., including Yamaha Outboards, WaveRunners®, boats, and more. With Siren Marine, a subsidiary focused on smart boat technology, Yamaha offers remote monitoring solutions for vessel safety, security, and performance.
- Sony Electronics: A subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation, Sony Electronics creates innovative products like the award-winning Alpha series cameras and cutting-edge audio equipment. It also leads in manufacturing end-to-end solutions from professional 4K broadcast gear to top-tier 4K and 8K TVs.
- Noodoe: Specializes in electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management. Its platform integrates EV charging, energy storage, solar power, and AI into a single dashboard, helping businesses optimize their energy costs and operational efficiency.
- LOGISTEED Solutions America: Offers comprehensive warehouse management solutions, including intermodal freight, ocean and air freight, contract logistics, customs brokerage, and intelligent logistics services tailored for complex global supply chains.
