"China has a solid industrial foundation, abundant industry resources, and a vibrant innovation ecosystem," said William Ding, President of 3M China. He noted that 3M has already established several co-creation platforms in China, including an Automotive Materials Science Academy, accelerating technology implementation and industrial upgrading. Going forward, the company will continue its "Rooted in China, Serving China" strategy, speeding up localization and supply chain collaboration.

"China is a dynamic market with significant growth potential. For over 50 years, we have consistently aligned ourselves with China's economic development," said Anna He, President of Henkel Greater China, expressing her confidence in the Chinese market. Henkel has recently built several new innovation and application technology centers and production bases in China, continuously enhancing local R&D and manufacturing capabilities to better meet domestic market demands.

"The Chinese market plays a guiding role in our technological research and development," said Osamu Matsuzaki, Head of R&D at Asahi Kasei. The acetonitrile electrolyte and resin glass hard coating agents showcased by Asahi Kasei at the expo were developed based on insights into Chinese automotive market needs. In the future, the company plans to adopt a "technology localization + joint innovation" model, collaborating with Chinese partners through technology licensing and joint R&D in green transformation, while expanding overseas markets in pharmaceuticals by introducing investigational compounds from Chinese pharmaceutical firms.

Dow Chemical recently launched a Thermal Management Materials Science Laboratory at its Shanghai Center, aiming to accelerate collaborative innovation with Chinese customers. Helen Huang, President of Dow Greater China, stated that as China accelerates the development of new quality productive forces and advances green, low-carbon, digital, and intelligent transformation, Dow is committed to providing high-performance, sustainable solutions to support economic and social development through science and technology.

"Toray not only views China as a crucial market but also as a global source of innovation," said Kenichiro Miki, Chairman of Toray (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Moving forward, guided by the concept of 'new quality productive forces,' Toray will expand cooperation, leverage its R&D strength in China to develop localized solutions, strengthen the local supply chain, and enhance production efficiency through digitalization.

China plays a vital role in Honeywell's global operations. All of Honeywell's businesses are now established in China, forming a complete local industrial chain covering innovation, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and services. Yu Feng, President of Honeywell Greater China, said, "This year marks Honeywell's 90th anniversary in China. We will continue implementing our 'East for East' strategy, partnering with Chinese stakeholders to build a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future."

During the expo, Nippon Paint reached cooperation agreements with GAC Gaoyue, Shanghai Lujiazui Group, and several subsidiaries under China State Construction Engineering Corporation, focusing on R&D in areas such as flying car coatings and lightweight materials. Zhong Zhonglin, CEO of Nippon Paint China, said, “We see certainty in the Chinese market and are even more convinced that investing in China means investing in the future.”
