As an important measure to deepen BRICS cooperation, the forum inaugurated the "China Center for BRICS Industrial Capacity." Leveraging Xiamen's advantages in high-level opening-up, the center will fully utilize resource agglomeration effects from platforms such as the BRICS Science and Technology Innovation Incubator Park and the BRICS Innovation Base Digital Economy Research Center, effectively promoting deeper integration of innovation chains and industrial chains among BRICS countries. The forum also officially announced the expansion of the International Cooperation Initiative on New-type Industrialization to 19 national competent authorities, along with the release of an action plan. The center will advance green and low-carbon transitions, foster sustainable development, and support investment cooperation in areas including new-energy vehicles, photovoltaics, wind power, hydrogen energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection.

During the opening ceremony, 14 industrial cooperation projects were signed, including the launch of the Russia-China Digital Economy Research Center’s Innopraktika Innovation Center project, the Raflon filtration membrane new materials industrialization project, and the Longking Environmental Protection-Aluminum Corporation of Russia carbon desulfurization and dust removal project, alongside other achievement releases.
