PPG's "Colorful Communities" Program Concludes Its 10th Anniversary

On December 11, PPG hosted a "Colorful Communities" event at Lijue Middle School in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province.

This event marked the closing project of PPG's global ten-year anniversary of the "Colorful Communities" initiative. Since its launch in 2015, the program has consistently combined PPG’s product strengths with employee volunteerism to revitalize communities through colorful transformations, creating positive impacts on people’s lives and workplaces.

A total of 54 volunteers from PPG's Jiangmen plant, PPG Architectural Coatings China, and PPG Architectural Coatings South China participated in this event. They created mural paintings on areas including the school’s table tennis room, playground, and gate walls. The event also featured a "Dream Class Meeting," land dragon boat racing, and engaging science lectures, comprehensively supporting student growth and development.

Liu Minghui, Plant Manager of PPG Jiangmen, said: “We are honored to bring this event to Lijue Middle School in Jiangmen, integrating color and creativity into the campus to create an artistic and culturally diverse environment for students.”

At the event, PPG announced a ten-year extension of the "Colorful Communities" program, along with an additional investment of $15 million to continue driving community beautification and revitalization worldwide.
