COBB Absorption Tester – Paper & Board Water Resistance Measurement Device

Paper and board-determinator of water absorption is a frequent laboratory testing instrument developed by us according to national standards. It is mainly used to measure the surface water absorption of sized paper and cardboard, including corrugated fiberboard.
But it may be not suitable for paper and cruddy paper with a density lower than 50g/m2. Likewise, it may be not applicable for loose paper (for example, newsprint) or unsized paper (for example, blotting paper) or other paper with high water absorbability.
This instrument is only capable of testing surface water absorption of paper and board. It is not applicable to exactly evaluate the writing performance of paper and board.
